Gear Cutting
Helical, spur and bevel gears manufactured to specification - new or matched to worn originals. Precision-cut for textile, agricultural and industrial machinery. If drawings are unavailable, we work from the worn original.
Gearbox & Comb Box Repair
Strip-down, assessment and full rebuild. Worn components replaced, housings repaired, units returned to working order - often the same day. Specialist knowledge of textile gearboxes and comb boxes that other engineers decline to touch.
Milling & Turning
CNC and manual milling and turning for bespoke components, repair work and one-off parts. We hold tight tolerances and can reverse-engineer components where drawings no longer exist.
Metal Spraying
Thermal spray coating for worn shafts, bearing housings and dimensional restoration. A proven alternative to replacement - restores parts to original dimensions at a fraction of the cost of new.
MIG, TIG & Arc Welding
Structural and precision welding in mild steel, stainless, aluminium and cast iron. Workshop-based or on-site. One of the few companies in the region offering cast iron welding as standard.
Aluminium & Cast Iron Welding
Specialist welding requiring particular expertise and preparation. We repair cast iron machine beds, housings and components that many workshops will not attempt. Quoted honestly - no surprises.
Sheet Metal Work
Bespoke guards, covers, ducting, cages and enclosures in mild steel, stainless or aluminium. Fabricated to your specification or drawn up from site measurements during a free visit.
On-Site Fitting & Fabrication
Our engineers come to you. We carry out fitting, installation and fabrication on-site, including during planned factory shutdowns to minimise disruption to your production schedule.
Shaft Repairs & Eccentric Repair
Worn, bent or damaged shafts restored through machining, building up and metal spraying. Eccentric repair and rebuild for textile and industrial machinery.
Bespoke & One-Off Fabrication
If it needs making and does not exist yet, we will make it. One-off and short-run bespoke fabrications for any industry, working from drawings, samples, worn originals or descriptions.
